VPN Connection Profile

The VPN Connection Profile is a .ovpn configuration file used by the OpenVPN client to establish a secure connection with your VPN Gateway. It contains all the necessary parameters for authentication and routing via VPN.

📩 Email Delivery

Whenever a new VPN user is created, an automatic email is sent containing:

The connection profile file (.ovpn)
The username and password
A download link for the OpenVPN Client software
Installation and usage instructions for all major platforms:
- Windows
- macOS
- Linux
- Mobile (iOS/Android)

⚠️ This profile is unique per user and must be used together with the provided credentials.

☁️ Download via Cloud Console

In addition to email delivery, the connection profile can also be downloaded directly from the Cloud Console:

Access the VPN Gateway section in the Console.
In the gateway list, click the actions button (three dots).
Select the Download Connection Profile option.
Choose the desired operating system and follow the installation instructions displayed.

🖥️ Installation Instructions (Example: Windows)

Download and install OpenVPN Connect from the official website.
Open OpenVPN Connect.
Click Import Profile and select the downloaded .ovpn file.
Enter your VPN credentials when prompted.
Click Connect to establish the connection.

Instructions are customized by operating system and displayed when downloading from the Console.

ℹ️ Important

The connection profile does not work without user credentials (username and password).
If you haven't created users yet, access the Manage Users section to configure them.
Keep the .ovpn file in a secure location. It contains sensitive connection information.
